Ashley L. Brown


A native Oregonian, Ashley Brown joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2016 after a two-year clerkship with the Linn County Circuit Court. During her clerkship, Ashley drafted letter opinions, prepared trial memoranda and compiled laws and case law for a number of practice areas including criminal law, business litigation, contract disputes, family law and dissolution proceedings, landlord-tenant issues and professional negligence matters.

Ashley earned her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in Saint Paul, Minn., where she served as an Assistant Editor and staff writer for the William Mitchell Law Review.

Later, as a research assistant for the Public Health Law Center, Ashley researched federal and state legislation and drafted health impact assessments for Minnesota’s public schools. She also worked with Regis Corp.’s in-house counsel focusing on corporate compliance policies. Additionally, Ashley has extensive motion and trial practice from her work with the Ramsey County Public Defender’s office in Minnesota.

When Ashley is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and traveling.
